Rainier in background. Stamped on verso: Photo by Rainier National Park Company, Gen'l Office, Tacoma, Wash. T.G. Hitt, shown here with his daughter Marion, started the Hitt Fireworks Company. The business and the family home were located on a hill just south of Columbia City that became known as Hitt's Hill. The company stayed in business until the 1970s. |
